The famous cosmetic, face and hair care line Kiehl's grew out of a traditional apothecary founded in 1851. Now it presents 3 new formulas developed from the unique extract Yerba Maté.

Yerba Maté is a small tree, growing in South-America, Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. The peasants of these countries admire the tree. From his leaves they make a healthy tea which they call "drink for gods". Today many South Americans drink this tea as part of their daily nutrition. It contains 24 vitamins and minerals (including vitamins A, C, E, B-1, and B-2), 15 amino acids, and 11 polyphenols (powerful anti-oxidants).

Yerba Maté as part of facial care acts with anti-oxidants against radicals, supports the production of collagen (better than green tea!) and helps to make your skin healthy.
