Fashion.at visited the Austrian alpine online department store 'Kaufhaus der Berge' with closer view at the wellness and beauty product range

Professionally managed online department stores with headquarters in Austria are rare and the online addresses seem to be insider informations. Large (shopping) platforms outshine the sources of which they are made of. However, it doesn't really make a difference which entrance is taken to visit an online store.

Fashion.at visited one of these sources for closer information about the natural cosmetics range of the Tyrolean brand 'Alpienne'. The company was founded more than twenty years ago in 1997. The products for skin care (face, eyes, lips, body) and sports & health (focus on fitness treatments for skin, muscles and joints) are developed from traditional Alpine folk medicine and the modern knowledge about the effects of ingredients and processing of formulas for beauty and healthcare.
Arnica, St. John's wort or marigold are some of the plants which are used for the range. The online shop of Alpienne carries the name 'Kaufhaus der Berge' (translated 'Department store of the mountains', founded 2018, kaufhausderberge.at) which houses several labels with products made of ingredients from the alps region for peelings, massages, home spa moments, etc. as well as culinary such as tea or honey.

One of the special categories of the department store is currently 'Hygiene & Pflege' with products like face masks, products for disinfection or hand balms (fast checked today). At the 'Geschenke' (gifts) category, Kaufhaus der Berge provides affordable packages like 'Glücksmoment' (moment of happiness) by the brand 'Gutes Aus Tirol' consisting of a soap with lemongrass and patchouli, hand cream, and a lip balm.
