Fashion.at insight into the presentation of new perfumes in Vienna

While the fashion jet set is on runway AW2020 travel - London, New York, Milan and now Paris, Fashion.at covered the latest collections digitally from its base in Vienna and visited press meetings held in the city such as one at hotel 'Das Triest' - the hotel was re-opened last year and is once again on top of the capital's fine luxury destinations. Luxurious are also the perfumes which were presented to Austrian daily newspaper and magazine editors. Many of the shown perfumes can be found at selected beauty stores only such as in Austria at the luxury retailers Le Parfum, Nägele & Strubell, or Kussmund.

The new perfumes were sprayed on fragrance strips by 'Le Parfum' - probably currently the most important trendsetter in Vienna when it comes to exclusive fragrances. The range of scents which were sprayed was very diverse - the only men's fragrance was 'FiDi' by Bond No. 9 (a fresh scent referencing the coolness of the Financial District in Manhattan); the only women's scent was a brand new fragrance by Montblanc with the name 'Signature' and is packed into a white ink bottle-like flacon; 'Signature' spreads happiness and makes think of a blue sky and clean air.

The other perfumes presented on this day are composed for men and women such as the unisex eau de parfum 'Bois d'Amande' by Van Cleef & Arpels which was one of the highlights on this late February day. The almond-centered cedar-wood scent is powdery silky and is probably from the presented range the composition which appeals to the most noses - even to professional luxury perfume noses. Perhaps this was also the reason why the press package contained a sample. 'Play it safe!' might have been the motto.
