SS18 hairstyles and 'Pastellization' coloring by Steinmetz-Bundy Privatsalon presented with campaign photographed by Hilde van Mas at Art Déco swimming pool in Vienna
For the campaign of the Spring/Summer 2018 hair looks with permanent waves and temporary coloring (up to 20 washes) in tones like warm copper or red-gold, the Viennese hairdresser 'Steinmetz-Bundy Privatsalon' selected together with photographer Hilde van Mas the Art Déco swimming pool and spa areas of the city's public bath 'Amalienbad'. Amalienbad was built in the 1920s and is one of the architectural highlights of bathing and sauna culture in Europe.
The hair salon owners, the married couple Hannes Steinmetz and Vanessa Bundy, count to the most popular hairdressers in Austria. Since 25 years, Steinmetz-Bundy are active in creating hair styles. Last year in June 2017, the new Steinmetz-Bundy Privatsalon opened at Opernring 9 vis a vis of Vienna State Opera. The speciality of Steinmetz-Bundy is gentle hair coloring in combination with trendy cuts.
fig.: The image shows red hair in natural-wild waves. Hannes Steinmetz developed cuts for air-drying. Tip by the hair dresser: Air dried curls get a defined look by adding a small dose of curl cream or hair oil. Movement in the hair (if natural curls or permanent waves) and intense colors are the main trends. For Spring/Summer 2018, Steinmetz-Bundy was inspired by the underwater color world, corals and shimmering shades. The 'Pastellization' coloring method lets the hair look like painted with water colors. The gentle method allows to layer colors on the hair (the amount of layers intensifies the tone) and lasts 20 hair washes.
