Hair Care Sight by Karin Sawetz, publisher Fashionoffice (August 2012)

Hair care ingredients from wool of the New Zealand sheep

The shampoo on the photo is not new. I have tested the shampoo already last year when it was launched in Austria. Unfortunately, the hair salon product was not for sale in Paul Mitchell's flagship salon in Vienna's Inner City; it was for hair dressing customers only.

fig.: Moisturizing Lather Shampoo from the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line by the US hair salon products label Paul Mitchell.

Now, I have used it after approximately one year again over the last weeks. It is fantastic! Probably the best shampoo I have ever used.

What are the advantages of the shampoo from the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line by Beverly Hills, California headquartered Paul Mitchell?

  • the refreshing scent
  • it's economical - already a small amount (1/2 walnut size) of the shampoo cleans the hair (shoulder-length) perfectly
  • the caring ingredients make the hair feeling healthy and strong

The line contains ingredients from the moisturizing Awapuhi plant (from Paul Mitchell's own solar-powered Awapuhi Farm in Hawaii) and 'Kera Triplex'. Kera Triplex is derived from the wool of the New Zealand sheep and similar to human hair protein and has healing effects.

I have tested also other products (created for all hair types and for colored, chemical manipulated hair) from the line; and almost all of them are very good for my type of hair. It is announced that the line is available for end-consumers (not only hair dressing customers) in Paul Mitchell salons.
