Austria Insight: Vienna-based beauty brand Temt presents new skincare for cold days with a limited edition in special packaging showing Tyrolean artist Alfons Walde's painting with skier

Alfons Walde is the most important painter when it comes to the depiction of skiing in Kitzbühel, Tyrol. The painter lived from 1891 until 1958 mainly in the region of or in Kitzbühel in Tyrol. His legendary posters for the Tyrolean tourism industry are exhibited nowadays in museums. The story of the Viennese beauty brand Temt (former name 'Dr. Temt') reaches back to 1947 and is strongly connected with the city of Vienna where the products are developed (history at drtemt.at/the-temt-story). Recently, the first views of the new 'All Winter Care' were released with playful depictions of the design of the packaging and the quality of the skin care such as the picture mediating the 'creamy' texture of the winter cream with a small figure of a skier making a turn, which fits to Alfons Wade's painting 'Der Schwung' (translated 'The Turn') from 1924.

By searching the website of Alfons Walde after the painting 'Der Schwung' alfonswalde.com/cms/?s=der+schwung, a series of artworks about winter sports, skiing and the fashionable guests of Kitzbühel appears as search result with introduction to Walde's work in the 1920s and the beginnings of organised winter sports in Tyrol.

Images: The pictures show the first views of the packaging and a texture impression of the limited edition of the 'A. Walde X Temt - All Winter Care', available from 15 November 2021 at drtemt.at (pre-order starts on 1 November).
