Insights into health activities at the headquarters of mountain and bike sports label Vaude in Germany
Since 2015, the corporate health management system consisting of fitness activities, special nutrition and ergonomic work spaces has been refined by experts for the staff of the sustainable outdoor clothing and gear label Vaude. In 2017, the average sick days of staff members were lying with 9,5 under the national average days of illness (15,1) of employees in Germany. Now, Vaude provides insights into its headquarters in Tettnang where staff members profit from the wide range of various activities (yoga, mountain bike training, climbing,... or crossfit courses; last mentioned were held in cooperation with health insurance companies) of the fitness program running under the title 'Auszeit' (translated 'time off') which can be joined individually in the morning, at noon or after work, and the company's own bio-canteen 'Mittagsspitze' (could be translated as 'noon summit') including low-carb dishes and vegan kitchen.
Vaude publishes closer information about the brand's corporate health management on vaude.com (German, English).
