Which hair color is the rarest in the world and became the trend color in 2024? The Viennese hairdresser Steinmetz-Bundy has created an entire haircut collection for the hair color 2024.

Red hair is the rarest natural hair color. According to statistics, only 1-2% of the world's population is naturally redheaded. Well, other natural colors can be changed relatively easily to one of the shades of the red spectrum. The red hair trend was predicted last year for 2024 and now it's in full swing.

Viennese hairdresser Hannes Steinmetz of the Steinmetz-Bundy Privatsalon launched the 'RED!' haircut collection for the 2024 summer season with a campaign shot by one of the country's most requested photographers, Hilde Van Mas, who has already worked for international magazines and clients. The photoshoot incorporates another color of the year, 'peach fuzz', into the set design and outfits to complement the vibrant red hues.
In the press release, the spectrum of shades from velvet red to cherry red and copper of this year's primary color trend for hairstyles was set in context as a basis for personal color choices. Hannes Steinmetz recommends personalizing the hair color, as it should not look out of place, but rather complement and emphasize the individual's character. According to him, the chosen shade should ideally match the natural hair color, eye color and complexion. The cuts are designed to allow daily self-styling with little effort, either air-dried or styled in simple steps.
