Mario Krankl, the new creative director of Intercoiffure Austria, presented the 'Luxury' hairstyling trends 2024 from the 'timeLESS' series

The hairdressing association 'Intercoiffure Austria' with currently about 100 member companies is a founding member of the world organization 'Intercoiffure Mondial' with headquarters in Paris (since 1925), which today counts around 2,000 hairdressers, stylists and barbers in 42 countries with ca. 50,000 employees. At the end of 2022, the seasonal trend series 'timeLESS' was launched with the 2023 trend collection 'timeLESS Pin-up'. In the meantime, Intercoiffure Austria has released five hairstyling trends, which can be viewed on https://intercoiffure.at/stories/ under the title 'New Timeless', where, in addition to the looks, articles are published about the association's activities in the field of youth education, such as the talent promotion program of the Fondation Guillaume.

The latest New Timeless trend is 'Luxury'. It's the first theme developed by the new creative director of Intercoiffure Austria, the Salzburg-based world champion hairdresser Mario Krankl. Together with his team, he gave an insight today into the 'New timeLESS Luxury' hairstyling for the 2024 season. Highlights are the renaissance of the long bob, the comeback of the platinum blonde pixie cut and luxurious waves for women, while men opt for confidently styled shorter haircuts. In today's press release, Mario Krankl explains that influences from the world of fashion and design are important sources of inspiration for hairdressers and emphasizes the emerging effectiveness of the 'Quiet Luxury' movement on the international fashion scene. Krankl expressed his appreciation for the concept of understated luxury, which motivated him to apply this style to hairstyling. He emphasizes that well-groomed, healthy and shiny hair, along with expertly crafted hairstyles and professional coloration, contribute to the sense of luxury. Based on his experience, he asserts that a look tailored to an individual's personality conveys a subtly luxurious aura that influences both self-perception and external perception.
