The Maria Callas Estate and The Merchant of Venice have teamed up to create a tribute eau de parfum

The 100th birthday of Maria Callas (December 2, 1923 - September 16, 1977) was celebrated last December with the launch of a tribute perfume by the Venetian perfumer 'The Merchant of Venice', inspired by the personality and style of the legendary soprano. The perfumer was commissioned by the Maria Callas Estate, an institution that represents and preserves the impressive cultural and material heritage of the famous opera singer, to create a fragrance to celebrate the centenary of the artist's birth. The launch event took place in early December 2023 in Venice at the Gran Teatro La Fenice (details In 1949, the opera house marked an important milestone in the career of Maria Callas.
