Creative Director Hannes Steinmetz of Privatsalon Steinmetz-Bundy created the looks for the Hair Styling Trends 2022 together with fashion by artist FJ Baur, set in scene by photographer Hilde Van Mas

Hannes Steinmetz of Privatsalon Steinmetz Bundy is one of Austria's top-coiffeurs. The hairdresser with international reputation is Creative Director of Intercoiffure Austria of the global association Intercoiffure Mondial which is dedicated to high quality in hairdressing craft. Intercoiffure Mondial was co-founded by Austria hairdressers in 1925. Today, the association counts around 2.000 of the best hairdressers with ca. 50.000 employees in 42 countries. In Austria, around 100 members are qualified for carrying the 'Intercoiffure' sign, a five pointed star. At the end of last year, Hannes Steinmetz teamed up with two other Austrian Intercoiffure hairdressers and presented the 'TimeLESS Passion. Glow' trend collection. (Pictures and video from the photo shooting of the looks by photographer Inge Prader with fashion by Wolford, Schella Kann,... at instagram.com/intercoiffureaustria).

Now, Hannes Steinmetz has collaborated again with a creative team. This time, the topic is 'temporary color effects in updos'. Responsible for the fashionable photographs of the 'Colors' Styling Trends 2022 is Vienna-Paris based Hilde Van Mas whose client list at hildevanmas.com shows names like Vogue or Dolce & Gabbana. The third creative head of the team is artist FJ Baur who is known for the creation of artistic fashion. One of the latest posts at FJ Baur's Instagram shows Conchita Wurst wearing one of his 'Artdresses'. For the fashion of the 'Colors' Styling Trends shooting, he was inspired by the colors blue, red, yellow, black of the abstract art of Piet Mondrian.

Images: The images show looks from the Styling Trends 2022 'Colors'. The vivid shine of the updo hair styles comes from color masks which can be washed out. They are additionally protecting the hairs by moisturizing them. "Color always plays a major role in the hairdressing profession, because it's especially with hair an incredibly strong means of expression. Our recommendations this year are shades from shiny black to rich brown to blonde with rich nuances," explains Vanessa Steinmetz-Bundy, CEO of Privatsalon Steinmetz-Bundy.
(Translated by Fashion.at from the original text of the media release: "Farbe spielt im Friseurberuf immer eine übergeordnete Rolle, denn sie ist gerade bei Haaren ein unglaublich starkes Ausdrucksmittel. Unsere Empfehlung sind heuer Farbtöne von glänzendem Schwarz über sattes Braun bis hin zu nuancenreichem Blond.")
